If you do business in Mexico, as a Chamber member you and
your employees are able to get FM 3 letters for FREE as a
service to our members. If you are not a member you will pay
$50.00.

U.S. Chamber of Commerce Membership
 Two
for the price of one. You will receive an additional
membership to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce when you join the
Brownsville Chamber. The U.S. Chamber membership is valued
at $365.00.

Resource Center
Information resources are available at the Chamber. Examples
include: community demographics; local phone directories;
community calendar; local and Rio Grande Valley maps; a list
of major employers; a cross-reference phone directory; area
visitor information and a list of local, area and state
government contacts.
Meeting Room Available
Chamber members are offered a 50% discount on the rental of
the Chamber meeting room.
Credit Card Service Discount
Every Chamber member is entitled to participate in the First
National Merchants discount program, which allows them an
additional discount on credit card processing services.
Online Calendar
The Chamber maintains a comprehensive online calendar of all
Chamber events. In addition to the Chamber’s calendar there
is also a community calendar of special events and
attractions. Chamber members have FREE access to enter
community events into calendar.

Certificate of Origin
The Chamber will provide a Certificates of Origin to our
members for international shipments.
Online Business Listing
Your business will be listed FREE in a searchable directory
with a hyperlink to your business Web site. This means the
chamber works 24/7 to refer your business.
Membership Directory & Buyer's Guide
Your Business will be listed FREE in the membership
directory & buyer’s guide. We distribute 10,000 copies of
this valuable resource to our Members and others who use it
to find the products and services they need. Advertising is
also available for members only and is also displayed
online. Cost to advertise varies. Opportunities to advertise
are offered annually from June through August.
Business Referrals
The Chamber fields more than 2,000 calls each month from
people looking for products and/or services. We refer our
callers and visitors only to our Member businesses. You
could get hundreds of referrals each month.
Brochure Display
Our high-traffic Business Resource Center has a members-only
display area for your marketing information.
Newsletter – the “Progress”
The Chamber “Progress” has a monthly distribution of more
than 20,000. The “Progress”, is mailed to more than 2,500
businesses and delivered to 17,500 homes the second
Wednesday of each month.

Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings
This service gives businesses an opportunity to promote
their official grand opening or expansion in an opportune
and exciting forum. The Brownsville Chamber will provide
oversized ceremonial scissors, a ribbon, the posting of the
ribbon cutting on the Chamber’s online community calendar, a
prepared agenda and the photo will be placed the next
“Progress” newsletter with a distribution of 30,000. In
addition, the Chamber will personally invite the Bienvenidos
Committee to attend. Services are valued at $300.00. This
service is FREE to chamber members. The cost for non-members
is $300.00.

Brownsville Community Map
Only members can advertise in the Chamber’s annual map which
features mapping for Brownsville, Matamoros, Mexico, the
Port of Brownsville, and Rancho. Reach businesses,
relocators and visitors. More than 10,000 will be
distributed. Opportunities to advertise are offered annually
from November through January.
